Kristiina Skinnari received the yearly Language Campus award given for her exemplary work. The award recognises the contributions Skinnari has given to Language Campus ever since becoming a doctoral researcher in the University of Jyväskylä.

Traditionally, Spring School is organized by and for the doctoral researchers of the Language Campus (i.e., CALS, LaCos, the Department of Teacher Education, Centre for Multilingual Academic Communication and Teacher training school). This year, we will run the event in a hybrid format to make it possible for researchers who are currently not in Jyväskylä to participate.

Welcome to the “Swedish in the middle of Finland” event inspired by the Finnish Swedish Heritage Day! We are celebrating Swedish and other languages in the awarded library Lähde.

On Thursday April 7th, MOVI (Centre for Academic multilingual Communication) will have the honor of welcoming Alexandra Salmela - a Slovak-born author who writes in both Finnish and Slovak.
